Wow, did I need to hear THAT today. 1,000 times "Amen!"

Amy,
I appreciate your post. I have had a tough few days, and have had to really let go of some personal things to keep persevering. A personal motto that is beginning to run through my mind when things get tough is this: Life is hard, God is good, and people are crazy!!
Thought you might appreciate that since it is somewhat modeled after a country song:)

Love you girl

That is a good word Amy, and this last weekends retreat was totally inspiring. I am encouraged that often the pits we find ourselves in have nothing to do with sin. Sometimes they are but sometimes they are not. But how the Lord so sovereignly allows situations in our lives that usually are the pits in order to shape our very character (perseverance, integrity, trust, etc). I guess that is why Romans tells us to rejoice in our suffering because of the greatness it can bring.

I love that you were sensitive to what was on your heart today.

Amy, these were the words to post for the day. A friend of mine was looking for a memory verse according to her current circumstances and situation... as soon as I read Romans 5:3-5 it brought such encouragement and I have already passed it on to her.

Thank you for being sensitive to the Lord to bring the words that were necessary today. Much love!
