    Hey Amy!
I was typing in our photographer’s name (amy pennington) and your website popped up. Didn’t even remember you had one! Anyway, I found myself engrossed in your last few entries. I always knew you loved to write but this is amazing.

You also have challenged me. I’ve been wanting to journal about this journey in life but who has the time to write… by hand? I love this idea. Set up a blog a while back to do videos of the girls. Last entry… maybe 3 months old. :) Anyway, did you have to pay for this website name? It looks very professional.

Well, my friend, I have to choose pics from our not-so-recent photoshoot (torture session). I think of you all the time and never sit down to tell you. But I love and miss you very much.

    Please come visit!!!

    Julie

    Hi Amy,
I love your blog, and got a kick out of reading about your girls’ avant garde fashion sensibilities! It’s good to see you’ve followed through on that blogging course we took. You’ve motivated me to get started on mine.
    Lindsey :)

Thanks Lindsey! Once you get started the rest will just flow – good luck! :)

    Hey Amy:

I have enjoyed your blogging. You have a great talent for writing! In talking about you and Joel having your “heart to heart” talk on some issues: something that has worked for me in coaching is a weekly/monthly MARRIAGE STAFF MEETING. You set a time, come to the table expecting to address & work through good/challenging issues. love you

    Hey Amy,

I stumbled across your blog whilst desperately searching on Google for someone that might be going through similar things to me. My husband and I moved to Malawi (Blantyre) about a month ago and reading your words about transition were like reading my thoughts! Totally in a similar boat with sometimes feeling like we’ve got it, and then other days wanting to give up and go back to UK (which I’m really trying to not call ‘home’!). And waking up each morning with a sense of cluelessness about what to do and where to begin! Those first moments after waking are hard!

Anyway, just wanted to thank you for your honesty in your writing, I’m taking encouragement from it. And to reach out and say hey, as a fellow sister in Christ who’s just moved nearby.

    B x
